Ranking System
Ranking serves as a rewards system, granting members Free Company chest access and other privileges as they climb the ranks. The ranking system is also essential to protect our Free Company assets.
When it comes to moving up the ranks, we value your overall contribution towards your fellow members above all else. Fostering a helpful community includes doing your best to answer questions or offer aid in-game or via discord. Balance is key as we are aware that you have your own gaming to tend to.
The higher the rank, the longer the climb!

Being social is not a requirement to be in our Free Company as there are many different reasons that gamers join us.
No matter where you fit on the social spectrum, we welcome all play styles and rank accordingly:
1. Queen Bee - FC Leader
- Full Free Company Estate Access
2. Hive Specialist, Hive Technician, Hive Strategist - FC Officers
- Officers are the highest achievable rank for members. They represent FC guidelines and are able to handle matters on behalf of the FC Leader, when she is unavailable. When an Officer rank becomes available, an invitation to apply is formally announced by the FC Leader, or a member will be unanimously recruited and promoted. If formally announced, members in the Hive Counsel or The Hive rank are welcome to apply. These prospective Officers must pass an application process and interview process. Once the Leadership Team makes a choice, the new Officer is placed on a 1-month probationary period and welcomed to the team. The Leadership Team may also choose to forgo selection of any applicants if a unanimous decision cannot be reached with any pool of applicants

3. Hive Counsel - Senior most, Tenured Members, Positive Contributors
- Hive Counsel members are the highest, non-FC Officer rank available
- Gardening Access: Planting & Harvesting. Please contact the FC Leader to discuss time frames for borrowing the garden patch(es). To avoid confusion or misplacement, please only harvest items you have planted. Gardening is typically unavailable during major holidays, to create space for outdoor holiday themed décor
- Orchestrion Access: You are more than welcome to listen to a song of your choosing, when you are in the FC house. Use the single song section, at the bottom, so it does not alter our preset playlist. When you are done using the orchestrion, please return the orchestrion to "Shuffle" our preset playlist
- Workshop Turn-in Privileges
- Free Company Chest: Full Access to Tabs 1-3 & Crystals. View only for Tabs 4-5. Deposit Only for Gil
4. The Hive - Positive Contributors
- Gardening Access: Watering Only
- Workshop Turn-in Privileges
- Free Company Chest: Full Access to Tabs 1-3 & Crystals. No Access to Tabs 4-5. Deposit Only for Gil
5. The Swarm - Positive Contributors
- Gardening Access: Watering Only
- Workshop Turn-in Privileges
- Free Company Chest: Full Access to Tabs 1-2 & Crystals. No Access to Tabs 4-5. Deposit Only for Gil & Tab 3
6. The Colony - Positive Contributors
- Gardening Access: Watering Only
- Workshop Turn-in Privileges
- Free Company Chest: Full Access to Tabs 1-2. No Access to Tabs 4-5. Deposit Only for Gil, Crystals, and Tab 3
7. House Bee - Entry-level rank. Positive contribution is required to surpass this rank
- Gardening Access: Watering Only

8. Forager - Entry-level rank. Achieved after more than 1 log in during your first 2 weeks with the Free Company
- Gardening Access: Watering Only
- Workshop Turn-in Privileges
- Free Company Chest: View Only for Tabs 2-3. No Access to Tabs 4-5. Deposit Only for Gil, Crystals, and Tab 1
9. Honey Bee - Entry-level starting rank
- Gardening Access: Watering Only
- Workshop Turn-in Privileges
- Free Company Chest: View Only for Tabs 1-3. No Access to Tabs 4-5. Deposit Only for Gil & Crystals
10. Returning - Members who have informed the Leadership Team that they will be taking a break from the game. This includes members who respond to an inquiry regarding an extended absence. The FC Leader checks in with members of this rank from time to time.
Generally 200 days are given, however extensions of up to 1 year are granted on a case-by-case basis. To keep our roster as fresh as possible, members with an extension will still be removed at 1 year of inactivity. You are more than welcome to reapply should you return to the game and will be returned to your previously assigned rank (Note: Exceptions will apply to those who previously held the Hive Counsel or Officer ranks).
If you log-in and notice you are at the Returning rank, you will be returned to your previously assigned rank at the FC Leader's next log-in.
11. Doom Debuff - Members who have not informed the Leadership Team of an extended break of 200 days, have not responded to an inquiry regarding their extended absence, or do not have a point of contact for an inquiry regarding their extended absence.
Members in this rank will be removed within 30 days of receiving this rank.
